Strategic positioning

Why Paraguay

Paraguay has established itself as one of the most competitive destinations in South America for those looking to expand operations, protect assets, or set up tax residency with lower tax burden, legal security, and currency stability.

Reduced tax burden

IRE of just 10%: the lowest corporate income tax rate in South America.

Currency stability

Dollarized economy that shields investments from volatility.

Economic growth

GDP growing consistently, above the regional average.

Competitive labor

Skilled workforce with reduced operational cost.

Strategic location

Privileged access to Mercosur and neighboring markets.

Incentive regimes

Significant tax benefits, including the Maquila regime (Ley 7547/2025).

"It's not that a Lupo foi para o Paraguay; Brazil pushed us para o Paraguay."
— Liliana Aufiero, CEO of Lupo
Other Brazilian companies operating in Paraguay include Riachuelo, Marisol, Mormaii, Vicunha Têxtil, and Calçados Bibi, among others.
Group format

Why join a group mission
(instead of going alone)

Reading about Paraguay is not the same as setting foot in Paraguay with someone who operates there. The group mission is the most efficient path to understand the real business environment and validate the viability of your operation — before any investment commitment.

01

Cost dilution

You pay a fraction of what an equivalent individual consultancy would cost.

02

On-site experience

It's not a video call. It's stepping inside the businesses, the Industrial and Commercial Hub, the city.

03

Structured, comprehensive content

Legal, tax, operational, and banking modules led by specialists.

04

Access to vetted local partners

Entrepreneurs, government officials, and technical experts arranged in advance by the Chamber.

05

Peer networking

Other Brazilian entrepreneurs at a similar stage as you — often where the best partnerships start.

Audience

For whom (and for whom it is not)

The mission is designed for those seeking a concrete path in Paraguay, not for those still in the phase of superficial curiosity. Today we serve people with very different profiles — the criterion is not company size, it's clarity of purpose.

Industrial sector

Companies producing in Brazil seeking to reduce tax costs, access the Maquila regime, or open an industrial unit in Paraguay.

Trade and services

Retail, wholesale, services, import-export, looking for cross-border operations or a new logistics hub.

Agribusiness

Agribusiness interested in expansion, mechanization, direct export, or cross-border asset structuring.

Digital nomads and remote professionals

Those seeking tax residency in Paraguay, optimized IRP regime, and currency stability for dollar-denominated income.

Asset protection seekers

Families and entrepreneurs evaluating corporate structures, holdings, and fiduciary instruments for succession and legal security.

Qualified explorers

Those still forming a hypothesis, wanting to understand the landscape and build a base to decide. No rush, but serious about it.

This is not for you if you're only looking for shopping tourism, or chasing the 'magic formula' to pay zero tax without serious structuring. Our commitment is to real viability, not easy promises.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Below are the most common questions. If anything is still unclear, reach out.

1. How much does it cost?

The Visit & Knowledge Package costs R$ 1,500.00 per person, paid in full (BRL, approximately USD 300). The Full Package (Visit + Documentation) includes Package 1 plus documentation setup services (additional values per scope). Prices do not include transport, accommodation, or meals — these are each participant's responsibility.

2. So what's the real total cost?

It depends mainly on your travel to the destination. For reference, in Salto del Guairá:

  • Accommodation: R$ 250 to R$ 500 per night (good-standard hotel).
  • Meals: R$ 150 to R$ 200 per day.
  • Travel to destination: highly variable. Round-trip flights to Cascavel/PR (the nearest airport) can range from R$ 600 to R$ 3,000 depending on date and advance booking. By car, calculate fuel based on distance, consumption, and number of passengers. For those with private or chartered aircraft, Salto del Guairá has an internationally certified landing strip.

After your registration, we provide accommodation suggestions and discounts negotiated by the Chamber.

3. Can I participate even if I'm not an entrepreneur?

Yes. We welcome freelancers, digital nomads, rural producers, and individuals interested in asset protection or tax residency. The criterion is clarity of interest, not company size or legal status.

4. Do I need to speak Spanish?

No. The entire mission runs in Portuguese, with translation when needed. Most local partners speak fluent Portuguese or portunhol (Portuguese-Spanish mix).

5. How does accommodation work?

We recommend hotels in the mission's host city, with nightly rates between R$ 250 and R$ 500 (executive standard). After registration, we send suggestions and discounts negotiated by the Chamber. Booking is done directly by the participant.

6. How does transport to Salto del Guairá work?

The nearest airport is in Cascavel/PR. From Cascavel to Salto del Guairá, travel is by land — it can be bus to Guaíra/PR followed by taxi or Uber to Salto, or direct taxi/Uber, depending on preference. For private cars, the road route is direct. And for those with private or chartered aircraft, Salto del Guairá has an internationally certified landing strip. We provide complete routing and logistics guidance after registration.

7. What's included in the Visit & Knowledge Package?

Chamber specialist/facilitator throughout the mission, planning and organization of the business itinerary, technical transfer for visits, informational materials, translation when needed, and certificate of participation.

8. And the Full Package (Visit + Documentation)?

Everything from Package 1, plus advisory and support for documentation procedures in Paraguay. The process typically includes, depending on the case and technical order:

  • Official migratory entry (country entry registration).
  • Cédula de Admisión Temporaria (initial regularization stage).
  • Cédula de Identidad Civil (equivalent to Brazilian RG / national ID).
  • RUC — Registro Único de Contribuyentes (equivalent to Brazilian CPF / tax ID, required for any economic activity).
  • Licencia de Conducir (equivalent to Brazilian driver's license).
  • Bank account opening at a Paraguayan institution.
  • Legal entity setup when applicable — important: incorporating in Paraguay requires partners to already hold Paraguayan documentation (individual regularization before legal entity).

The exact scope and value are presented in a dedicated proposal after advance confirmation (minimum 10 days before the mission, with prior submission of Brazilian documents).

9. How many spots are available per mission?

Generally between 10 and 20 companies/individuals. We've already run missions with groups of 28 and 34 participants — we can scale based on demand. We don't run artificial waiting lists.

10. What if the mission is fully booked?

If at maximum capacity, we offer priority for the next mission. You'll be notified by email and WhatsApp.

11. How does payment work?

Boleto or Pix, paid in full (Brazilian payment methods). After registration, we send the boleto/Pix by email. Spot confirmation occurs after payment verification.

12. Can I cancel? Is there a refund?

Yes. The cancellation policy follows three clear rules:

  • Up to 7 days after payment: full refund, in accordance with the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (art. 49, right of withdrawal).
  • Up to 10 days before the mission starts: refund of 70% of the paid value, minus administrative and tax expenses already incurred.
  • Less than 10 days before start, or if waiving the refund: the full amount can be applied, at no additional cost, to any future mission of your choice.
13. Can I bring a companion?

Yes. The companion pays the same package price, as they use the same structure. For family registration (up to 2 people), please ask about special conditions.

14. Do I need a visa for Paraguay?

For Brazilians, no — just a passport or Brazilian ID (RG) in good condition. For other nationalities, please consult the Paraguay Embassy.

15. Who delivers the talks and leads the visits?

Specialists invited by the Chamber, actively working in the Paraguayan market: tax lawyers, accountants, established entrepreneurs, government officials, and local partners.

16. What if I want a more personalized analysis before deciding to go?

For that, we offer the DVP — Personalized Viability Diagnosis, in two independent stages:

  • Session (USD 500): dedicated 1-to-2 hour meeting (in person in Goiânia/GO or online) with our team, with a technical record delivered on the spot.
  • Diagnosis (USD 2,500): technical visit at your headquarters + written report of 10 to 20 pages + online presentation.

Those who hire Session and then Diagnosis get 100% of the Session value credited. And those who proceed to full Structuring or a mission within 12 months get 100% of the DVP credited.

17. And after the mission? Is there continued support?

Yes. The Chamber maintains ongoing contact with participants interested in advancing — from referrals to local partners to legal, accounting, and structuring support. Each case is discussed individually based on the stage of interest.

18. How do I receive the certificate of participation?

It's delivered at the closing session, on the last day of the mission.

19. Do you have testimonials from past participants?

Yes. See the "See how previous missions went" section above, or visit our Instagram @camarabrasilparaguai.

20. What if I have questions not listed here?
